Who is ALICE? Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed

ALICE represents the growing number of families who work hard yet struggle to make ends meet. Burdened by the high costs of childcare, housing, transportation, and more, they often live paycheck to paycheck. A single missed shift, sick child, car repair, or other unexpected emergency can be devastating.



We all know ALICE - our neighbors, friends, and family. They’re our daycare teachers, first responders, grocery store associates, and home health aides who keep our community running. They earn above the Federal Poverty Level but still fall short of covering basic needs, forced to make impossible choices between rent, food, prescriptions, and childcare.
