Volunteer Week
Volunteer Week presented by HCA Florida Healthcare is a nationwide celebration held each April to recognize the individuals and organizations who show up for their communities and create lasting change through service.
At United Way Emerald Coast, Volunteer Week reflects what we see every day. Neighbors coming together to support one another and create real, meaningful change.
Volunteer Week 2026 will take place April 20-24, beginning with a kickoff celebration on April 20 from 4:30-6PM at The Place on Beal (sign up via the link in your volunteer confirmation email) . Throughout the week, volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of service projects located across our community. We encourage participants to sign up for as many projects as they are able to join!
Last year, because of YOU during Volunteer Week, we:
- completed 43 service projects at schools, non-profits, and municipalities
- hosted 3 kit builds across 5 locations
- had 360 volunteers step up and give their time
- contributed 1,800 total volunteer hours
- created a community impact valued at $60,282 through hands-on service and shared effort!
We hope you’ll join us this year for your chance to come together, give back, and make a lasting difference in our community. Whether you're rolling up your sleeves for hands-on projects or participating from your workplace, there’s a way for everyone to get involved.
